Get Involved
Marine Rescue Geraldton relies on volunteers and community support to keep our local waters safe.
There are a few simple ways you can get involved and support the work we do.
-
Volunteering is a rewarding way to support the local boating community and be part of a committed team. Our volunteers are trained to carry out a range of roles, both on the water and onshore.
Volunteer roles may include:
Boat crew
Radio operators
Training and support roles
General assistance and events
No previous boating or rescue experience is required. All training is provided.
If you’re reliable, willing to learn, and able to commit time, we’d love to hear from you.
-
If you own a boat, Batavia Membership is the best way to support Marine Rescue Geraldton while helping keep yourself safe on the water.
Registering your vessel makes logging on quicker and provides important information if assistance is ever needed.
