Marine Radio Information

Marine Rescue Geraldton monitors local marine radio channels to help keep track of vessels on the water.

Before heading out, make sure your radio is working and you know which channel to use.

Key information:

Log on and off using the correct radio channel - Ch 81 or Ch 81, refer to map below.

Keep your radio on while on the water

Use the appropriate emergency channel if needed (Ch 16)

Channel 16:

Whole state channel, monitored locally by Marine Rescue Geraldton and statewide by WA Water Police
